This summer, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Virginia Peninsula is creating more than fun moments — we’re creating the kinds of experiences that shape confidence, connection, and great futures.
Through Core Memory Summer, a campaign to create the kind of moments that just hit different, we’re inviting our community to help make those moments possible for thousands of young people across the Virginia Peninsula. From safe spaces and caring mentors to joyful experiences, new friendships, and opportunities to grow, every part of summer at the Club helps kids build memories that can stay with them for years to come. Lowkey, those moments can change everything.
With your support, more than 5,000 young people can access the programs, opportunities, and everyday encouragement that help shape their future.

The leaders of tomorrow are in our Clubs today. This summer there are a few ways to take the FUN-draising into your own hands! You can start your own page to have your friends and family join you in doing “whatever it takes” to make a difference in the life of a child by clicking on the “Become a Fundraiser” button above. Show your support today with a one-time gift. Just $50 can provide a child an entire week in our Clubs through the “Give a Monetary Donation” option. You like to exercise? Have your friends and family support a run, a bike ride, a walk- whatever it is you want to do. Host an event and raise funds through registrations. Become a volunteer and get in the Clubs with our kids for some in-person fun.

The Meaning Behind the Theme
If you have spent any time around young people lately, you have probably heard them talk in their own language. Our campaign is rooted in this youth voice and culture to bring together generations and help bridge the gap between the young people we serve and the community that surrounds them.
