(Newport News, VA) – Boys & Girls Clubs of the Virginia Peninsula inducted two new board members to the Corporate Board of Directors – Jeff Belote and Ashley White.
Jeff Belote is a native to Newport News and started his own real estate appraisal business in 1991. He has served on the Board at James River Country Club and currently serves on the Board of the Peninsula Baseball Umpires Association. Belote actually worked for the Boys Club in the late 70s, and he joins as a second-generation Board Member after his late father, who served on the board for five decades. He raised two daughters in Newport News and currently resides there with his wife, Beckie.
Ashley White is the founding principal of the accounting firm, AJ White & Associates. She studied accounting at Christopher Newport University while working at Roy and Burns, P.C., and has passed the Enrolled Agent (E.A.) exam and CPA exam. In 2010, she opened A.J. White & Associates, LLC to fully utilize her accounting skills and knowledge.
