Amanda Minick is a high school senior, who has overcome more than most adults have in their lives, before the young age of seventeen.
Overcoming abuse, assault, and the loss of those she has cared deeply for, Amanda was still able to grow into a focused, driven, and exceptional young woman. She strives to give back and always put the needs of those around her first. "I want to give back and become the support system to the youth that I received and continue to receive. I want to continue to inspire and change the lives of those who hear my story."
In the Club, Amanda's favorite activity is arts and crafts. She likes to help the younger children with their art projects, as well as assisting them in roller skating , and running games. Amanda also serves as an assistant Taekwondo instructor in the local community.
After graduating high school, Amanda plans on attending Christopher Newport University. She would like to major in Psychology and Criminal Justice to pursue a career with the F.B.I..
